Located in Poughkeepsie, New York, Mike Arteaga’s Health & Fitness Centers have been utilizing the MedX Medical Lumbar Extension and Cervical Extension machines in their Healthy Back and Neck Program for more than 25 years. This program is designed to strengthen the spinal muscles and reestablish stability, which has been proven to reduce or eliminate pain caused by herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, sciatica, arthritis, and many other chronic neck and spine conditions.

Mike Arteaga brought MedX to his health and fitness centers after experiencing success with the program himself. Mike suffered back pain from multiple severely herniated discs that was so bad that he thought he “may be a cripple” for the rest of his life. In an effort to avoid surgery, Mike discovered the MedX Healthy Back and Neck Program and flew to the University of Florida Medical School where extensive research on the machines was being conducted. After successfully completing the program, Mike’s low back pain was significantly reduced and he was able to return to the “active lifestyle he [I] was used to living,” which included playing racquetball and skiing. As a result, Mike was happy to bring the MedX machines to Poughkeepsie and train his staff in order to help others suffering from the same debilitating low back and neck pain conditions.
